Description:

The Calgary Police Service is committed to providing the best policing service possible for diverse communities. The Diversity Resources Team has 12 portfolios of diverse groups, one of which is Sexuality and Gender Diversity. Through our Sexuality and Gender Diversity Chief Advisory Board, the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender community liaise with the police to develop trust, understanding and address issues of concern for the police and these communities so that victims of same sex domestic violence, gay bashing and sexual assault are properly attended and crimes do not go unreported.
