The altView Foundation is celebrating 10 years of providing services, programs and supports for LGBTQ2S+ communities in rural Alberta. The altView Foundation has several programs currently running or in development:

  • thought OUT an all ages discussion group
  • a community outreach program with a focus on education
  • Status of Queer, an annual conference for rural communities
  • Rainbow Alliance, a youth group for Fort Saskatchewan
  • Breaking Down Walls, a series of monthly mini-conferences focused on engaging and empowering LGBT+ women, non-binary and Two Spirit individuals
  • Our advocacy and facilitation support program for rural Alberta Gay Straight Alliances
  • OUTlet, a monthly set of groups in Sherwood Park for LGBTQ2S+ youth and the adults in their lives
